July 26 - Shortly before 1100hrs, units from West Lake and West Ridge Fire Departments were dispatched to the Sara Coyne Campground at the foot of Presque Isle State Park for a camper fire.

First arriving units reported a working fire with exposures.  Engine 9 from West Lake was the first engine on location, shortly followed by West Lake Engine 4 and West Ridge Engine 16.  Multiple attack lines were pulled off of Engine 9 to begin fire suppression operations.  A search of the camper proved negative.

Investigators believe that the fire was caused by faulty wiring.  Crews remained on location for over an hour.  West Ridge Captain 470 had initial command upon arrival, but pass command onto West Lake Chief 480 upon his arrival.  No injuries were reported.
