Water Master Tanker
A revolutionary use for existing
technology. Southern Fire Equipment along with Progress Tank have
released the Water Master Tanker. The tanker uses vacuum to fill it's
self at an astounding 2000 GPM.
This equipment has been used for years for
removing all types of sludge including septic tanks. Basically the
tank is a giant vacuum chamber which sucks the water into it at an
incredible rate.
The cab
mounted console controls every aspect of the operation meaning the
operator doesn't have to leave the cab.
Available in single or tandem axle configuration from 2000 to 5000
gallon capacities with 6 different chassis options
So unique is this arrangement that Southern is
willing to publish pricing
As of May 2003
Single Axle From $138,000
Tandem Axle From $145,000
The heart of the system is the Wittig RFL 100 PTO Vacuum Pump again
time and field proven reliability. The system can also be reversed to
pressurize the tank at 15 psi for fast discharge at 1750 GPM, so
there is no need for a jet dump. This system obviously will not charge
a line capable of fire flows there for a 500 GPM Hale PTO Pump is an
available option.
Additional uses for this system include slurry removal in a trench
or other rescue situation, Spill control, Hazmat (Progress has applied
for and fully expects to receive a hazmat endorsement for this system)
